Anstrom-Velker was established in 1970 by Bob Anstrom, Bob Gustafson, and Jack Velker. Like the Lane Family Funeral Homes, it is a generational family business. Anstrom-Velker is located at 75 E. Midlothian Boulevard in Youngstown and was owned by brothers Doug and Greg Anstrom prior to the Lane purchase. The Anstrom brothers will continue with the Lane company, managing the Midlothian Boulevard facility which will be renamed Lane Funeral Homes-Anstrom-Velker Chapel. 

However, that location on Youngstown’s south side is just transitional. We are finalizing plans to move to a new location in a fast-growing section of Mahoning County. It’s going to be a truly unique funeral and cremation center, offering services and amenities no one else in this area can offer. Details on the new funeral home will be announced in the next 60 days.
