Obituary
Austintown- Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruth McAndrews will be held at 10 am Saturday at Austintown Baptist Church. Ruth was born June 20, 1936 in Youngstown the daughter of Sherman & Ruth (Whetstone) Burr and was a lifelong area resident.
Ruth "Loved the Lord" and was an active member of Austintown Baptist Church where she was the General Officer of Sunday School, member of Woman's Tuesday night Bible study. Ruth was very active in the Austintown Senior Citizens.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon McAndrews of Austintown, brother Sherman McAndrews of Naples, Fl. and her best friend and sister in law Mary Sponaugle of Austintown. Ruth also leaves several cousins and her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard J. McAndrews whom she married March 3, 1956 and who died January 26, 1911.
Family and friends may call from 9am until time of services Saturday morning at the church. The family request that memorial contributions be made to Austintown Baptist Church Mission Fund in Ruth's name.
