Terry was born July 3, 1935 in Cleveland a son of the late Robert and Irene (Balstad) Dunn.
A United States Army Reservist serving in the medical corps, Terry attended Miami University and graduated from Case Western Reserve with a Bachelor's Degree. He moved to the Youngstown area, from Cleveland, pursuing a career in advertising, sales, and marketing. He had worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Ira Thomas & Associates, G.F., Youngstown Litho and City Printing.
A member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Terry served on the Catholic Charities Board. His creativity could be seen in his love for art and the pride to took in his relationship with the Butler Art Museum, as well as playing the piano. He also enjoyed playing golf, having been a member of Tippecanoe County Club. These interests paled in comparison to his immense love of family and the loyalty he quietly displayed throughout his life. Terry will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Sheila Parks with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage with this past June 10th; four daughters: Julie (Scott) Sittig, Karen (Tom) Donadee, Suzy (Nick) Manos, and Katie (Bill) Haas all of Canfield; eight grandchildren: Nick and Alex Manos, Scott and Sarah Sittig, Tommy and Jake Donadee and Ashleigh and Jessica Haas; and one brother Timothy (Eileen) Dunn of Rocky River.
Besides his parents, Terry is preceded in death by a son Michael Dunn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Blvd, Youngstown, OH 44510.
