Ada V. Kimmel

Carterville, GA.- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Ada V. Kimmel age 91 of 21 Plantation Dr. NE, Cartersville, GA formerly of Bradenton, FL and Austintown who died Friday morning at her home. Ada was born Aug. 3, 1912 in Ashland, OH and was the daughter of Guy W. and Helen (Jordan) Zimmerman. She was a homemaker and a member of Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Cartersville and was formerly a member of Smith Corners United Methodist Church in Austintown. Her husband, Roy R. Kimmel whom she married March 21, 1933 died in 1982. She is survived by a daughter Thelma and her husband Ronald Dennison with whom she made her home in Cartersville, GA, a son David and his wife Rickie Kimmel of Canfield, a sister Mary E. Snyder of Mansfield, OH, a brother Paul E. Zimmerman of Sarasota, FL, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Esther Kimmel Gee, two sisters Jane Jacques and Helen Richard. Family requests that material contributions be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Smith Corners United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday.
