AUSTINTOWN- Arrangements were handled by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Adair L. McCartney of 10494 Yale Rd. in Deerfield who died Tuesday afternoon at her residence. Adair was born September 14, 1932 in Iowa the daughter of Mern and Evelyn (Rice) Kemble. Mrs. McCartney was a secretary for Trexler Rubber Co. in Ravenna before retiring after 20 years of service. Then enjoying her time reading and gardening as a loving mother and homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband Herbert M. McCauley who she married in 1941 and her mother Evelyn Kimble. She also leaves 4 children Jackie Lowery of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Sharon Bailey and John McCartney of Deerfield, and Herbert McCartney of Augusta, Montana. Adair is also survived by a sister Alice Stoner of Ft.Smith, Arkansas and 3 brothers Tom Kemble of Alabama, Mern Kemble and Bill Kemble both of Deerfield along with 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her father Mern Kemble and a brother Chuck Kemble. There are no calling hours or services, the family requests that tributes take the form of memorial contributions to Hospice in care of Robinson Memorial hospital.
