Albert M. Segreti, Sr., 97 Albert M. Segreti, Sr., 97, went home to his Lord on January 30, 2014 in Centerville, Ohio. He was one of eleven children born to Ellis Island immigrants from Calabria, Italy, Raffaelle and Mary Segreti in Youngstown, Ohio. He lived with his Wife of 69 Years, Wynell, in Canfield, Ohio, in the home he built in 1951. He was born March 29, 1916 in Youngstown. Besides his parents, his brothers Frank, Tony, and Charles are deceased, as are his sisters Rosy, Millie, Laura, Vera, Evelyn and Annabelle. He is survived by his younger brother, Joseph of Iowa City, Iowa. Al is survived by his beloved wife Wynell from Arab, AL, his three children, Mark (Peggy) Segreti of Dayton, Keith (Michelle) Segreti of Austintown, and Gail (Ron) Trace of Cayucas, CA. One child, Janey died in infancy. Al and Wynell were married on July 8, 1944 and celebrated their 69th anniversary this past year living together at Brighton Gardens in Centerville, OH, after living in Canfield for over 60 years. Al was a flight instructor for Army Air Corps pilots during World War II and a commercial pilot with Trans World Airlines. He instructed many Air Corps pilots at Pryor Field in Decatur, AL. He was a flight instructor at several airports in the Youngstown, Ohio area while he worked in circulation at the Youngstown Vindicator Printing Company, where he retired in 1981. Al and Wynell have ten grandchildren, Matthew (Anna) and Jon (Mia) Rossi, Tracy and Missy Segreti, Angela (Jack) Romanski, Jesse and Ross (deceased)Trace, Krista (Spyke) Fleming, Alison (Tony) Liddic and Anthony (Jen) Segreti. They have eight great-grandchildren, Chase Segreti, Madison, Rylee and Hannah Liddic, Berlyn and Eli Fleming, Milo Rossi, Raquel and Alexa Romanski. Al and Wynell are long time members of the Old North Church of Canfield, Ohio. Al was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was especially pleased at visits with the great grandchildren over the past year and conversations with Berlyn. He loved his family and was a diligent prayer warrior for each of them. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 4th from 11 am to l:00 pm at the Lane Funeral Home, Chapel in Canfield with a service to follow at 1:00 pm. Burial at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio
