ALICE D. GRAVINK Alice D. Gravink of 7158 Fairview Ave., Brookfield, Ohio, formerly of Niles, Ohio, died at 9:53 PM Friday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was 77. Mrs. Gravink was born in Groveton, Pennsylvania on November 27, 1927, a daughter of Joseph V. and Anna Marie (Sklenar) Baxa. She was a homemaker most of her life but had previously worked for Consolidated Lamp & Glass, Coraopolis, PA, Trumbull Lamp, Warren, OH as well as many restaurants in the area. Her memberships included: Vienna Baptist Church, Vienna, Ohio; and C.S.A. Alice had a love for reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: 1 son, Gregory Gravink, Brookfield; 1 step-son, James L. Gravink, Brookfield; 2 sisters, Olga Corrado, Vienna, and Viola Cross and her husband Fred, Howland, OH; 1 brother, Charles Baxa, North Carolina; 1 Granddaughter, Jessica Ann Morgan; and 1 Great-Granddaughter, Trista Nicole Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband whom she married 10-2-66, Gordon H. Gravink, he died 11-23-97; 3 brothers, James, Daniel & Joseph Baxa Jr.; and a sister, Emily Wiejick. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday the Madasz Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Arch McCune, Pastor. Calling hours will be 4-7 PM Tuesday.
