Alice M. Roberts—87 Austintown—A mass of Christian burial will be held 1PM Friday Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Alice M. Roberts, 87 of Austintown who passed away early Thursday morning. Alice was born February 6, 1916 in Italy a daughter of Umberto and Salvatrice (Lapore) Pellino and came to this area as a child. She was a homemaker, as well as a loving and devoted wife and mother, a member of the church and a past member of its Altar & Rosary Society and Ladies Guild. Her husband Anthony H. Roberts whom she married October 11, 1941 passed away March 9, 1999. Alice leaves four daughters Antoinette (Joe) Korleski of Columbus, Mary (Gary) Griffith Youngstown and Elizabeth (Bob) Brode, and Diane (Richard) Tolle of both of Austintown, four sons Raymond (Helen) of Austintown, Angelo (Ginny) of Colorado, David (Phyllis) of North Jackson, and Robert (Irene) of Austintown, and a half sister Agnes Baragona of Niles, twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her Step-father Patsy Treo, she is preceded in death by her son John, brother Albert Pellino and half brother Martin Treo and a sister Ruth Marrara. Family and friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of services in the church. The family request memorial contributions to take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
