Alice M. Wilds

ANDERSON, SC - A Right of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. Austintown, OH 44515 for Alice M. Wilds, 83, who passed away Tuesday evening, April 30, 2019 at her residence in Anderson, SC. Alice was born March 25, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Anna (Nagy) Molchany. She was employed with the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts in Sebring. Alice was a 1954 graduate of Ursuline High School. She was a member of the Youngstown Saxon Club-Branch No. 22, the Youngstown Maennerchor the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 3298-Meander Auxiliary in Austintown, the Sebring V.F.W. No. 6730, the Youngstown Chapter of DARE, Youngstown Solo Parents, the American Business Womens Association, the Gold Torch Chapter, the J.F. K. Democrats of Youngstown, the Federated Democratic Women of Ohio, the Ohio Association of Municipal Court Clerks, the Hungarian Club of Youngstown, the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine and a lifetime member of the Ohio Public Employees. Alice enjoyed baking, bowling and was a long- time member of a 500 card club. Her husband, Harold "Marve" Wilds, whom she married Dec. 26, 1987, died May 19, 2012. Alice is survived by her children, Donald R. Manners, Jr. of Canfield, Denise (Mike) McHugh of Anderson, SC and Diane Barber, also of Anderson, SC; her sister, Carolyn Rowe of Cleveland; her step-children, Sue Wilds of Charleston, SC and Thomas (Georgette) Wilds of Chandler, AZ; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice "Tammy" Manners, her sisters, Pauline Bracken and Nancy Orr, her grandsons, Donald R. Manners, lll and David E. Manners and her son-in-law, David Barber. Friends may call from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, prior to Services at the funeral home.
