Alice T Anderson

Alice T. Anderson, 83 of Brookfield passed away at 6:25pm Thursday, April 28, 2011 at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center. She was born on September 20, 1927 in Sharpsville, PA and is the daughter of the late Melvin and Ellen Connelly McMath. A lifetime area resident, Alice was a 1945 graduate of Sharpsville High School, was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church where she was a former member of the altar and rosary society. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and playing bingo. She married her husband, Dale E. Anderson on October 5, 1946. Together they shared 41 years of marriage until his passing on July 30, 1988. Also preceding Alice in death are brothers, Melvin"Mickey" McMath and Charles McMath. Alice is survived by her two children; Roberts E. (Donna) Anderson of Masury and Kathleen Christensen of Cleveland; a sister, Marge Mikis of Hermitage, PA, and four grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Jeremy, Rachel and Nicholas Christensen. Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, May 2, 2011 at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. The family will be receiving friends from 11am until the time of the service. Father Frank Zanni will be officiating. Entombment will be at Crown Hill Burial Park. Material contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the donor's favorite charity.
