Alta J. Steinritz

There will be a funeral service 11 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Alta J. Steinritz who passed away Saturday at The Terrace at Flemming Island. Alta was born August 23, 1923 in Xenia, OH a daughter of the late Harry and Nola (Shinkle) Hopkins. She retired as a receptionist from Amron Lanes in Canfield, and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Canfield. Her husband Louis D. Steinritz, passed away September 4, 1985. Alta is survived by her son Louis (Patricia Castano) Steinritz of Orange Park, FL, grandchildren: Kelly and Louis; and great grandchildren: Emma and Hunter. Besides her parents and husband, Alta is preceded in death by one brother. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3695 Boardman- Canfield Rd., Suite 301 B, Canfield, OH 44406. Friends may call from 10 AM until 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
