Alta M."Monty" Kreider, 94, formerly of Brookfield passed away Tuesday morning, December 16, 2008 at Gilettes Nursing Home where she was a resident. Born May 19, 1914 in Dillon, MT, she was the only daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Cox) Fidler. A graduate of the Dana School of Music, Monty came to the Warren area in 1932 to attend school and study the piano. She received a Bachelor's Degree from the Dana school in the mid 1930's. She was a very talented and accomplished pianist. She became a homemaker and continued playing music as organist at the United Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years. Monty had attended the Bazetta Baptist Church for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband Emerson Kreider whom she married Oct. 17, 1941. She is survived by a brother Alfred Fidler of Boise, ID and by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Paul Fidler. The Rev. Stanley Mink will conduct a funeral service Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 at 11am at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel where family and friends may visit from 10 to 11am. Entombment will take place in Crown Hill Mausoleum. Material contributions may be made in Alta's memory to the Bazetta Baptist Church at 1109 Perkins Jones Road NE Warren, OH 44483
