Alta Mae Goodhart

There are no calling hours or funeral services for Alta Mae Goodhart who passed away at Liberty Healthcare Center Thursday morning. Alta was born August 5, 1915 in Weathersfield Township, a daughter of the late James T. and Anna M. (Perry) Gordon. Her husband Joseph Goodhart whom she married June 1939, passed away in 1963. Alta is survived by two children: Mary Jane (Michael) Navolio of Mineral Ridge and Joseph Thomas Goodhart of Warren; two sisters: Pauline Benson of Austintown and Dorothy Marshall of McDonald; one brother James Gordon of Niles; one grandson William Pike Jr.; three great grandchildren: William Pike III, Gary Prectel, and Stevi Nicole Pike; and two great great grandchildren: Kylie Pike and Brynn Pike. Alta enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Alta is preceded in death by three sisters: Margaret Shafer, June Parilla and Betty Bable; and two brothers: Fred Gordon and Jack Gordon. Lane Funeral Home Niles Chapel has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
