Alvin R. Austin, Jr.

Alvin R. Austin, Jr., age 39 of Niles, died Monday morning, July 15, 2013, at his home in Niles of an apparent heart attack. He was born December 24, 1973 in Warren, the son of Alvin R. Austin Sr. and Pamela Kay Ramsey Austin. Alvin was a 1993 graduate of Maplewood High School. He worked for 16 years in the finish dept. as a sprayer at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield. Alvin is survived by his mother, Pamela Kay (John Boylen) Austin with whom he made his home in Niles; his father, Alvin R. (Lesley A.) Austin Sr. of Warren; one son, Rodney A. Austin of Cortland; one sister, Mindy M. Austin of Warren; three brothers, William L. (Cari) Austin Sr. of Warren, Andrew J. Austin of Champion and Christopher J. Austin of Warren and a grandmother, Lucille Austin of Warren. Grandparents, Lyndy B. and Betty J. Ramsey and Angle Austin all have preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Warren on Surrey Road S.E., where the family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Glenn Wineland will officiate. Burial will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Champion. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
