Andrew Egyud

Scottsdale, AZ- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Andrew Egyud, age 94, formerly of Risher Rd. in Youngstown who died early Friday morning at Scottsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Andrew was born Feb. 19, 1915 in Budapest, Hungary. He had formerly owned and operated A&M Food Market in Youngstown. He had served in the Army during WWII as a Mess Sergeant and enjoyed reading, singing, was a Cub's and Diamondback's Baseball fan. He was a 33rd degree Mason, although his active chapter was in Trenton, NJ. Andrew's wife, the former Mary Patoray passed away June 2, 1993. He is survived by a daughter Andrea Egyud of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a half brother Louis. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Thursday.
