Angel M. Gonzalez

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11AM in Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Angel M. Gonzalez, 79, of North Bruce St. in Youngstown, who passed away Thursday morning at his residence with his family by his side. Angel was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on September 19, 1925 the son of Manuel and Anna (Perez) Gonzalez. Angel retired from the City of Youngstown working as a foreman for the Water Department. Angel enjoyed his heritage, carpentry, playing music on his homemade guitar, and working on cars. Angel was a member of the National Guard. Angel was of the Catholic faith. Angel is survived by his wife the former Rosa M. Arce; nine children: Miguel (Maria) Gonzalez of Philadelphia, PA; Manuel Gonzalez of Philadelphia, PA; Migdalia (Steve) Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; Enaida Gonzalez of Youngstown, OH; Rosa M. Anderson of Harrisburgh, PA; Angel (Anna) Gonzalez of Harrisburg, PA; Osvaldo Gonzalez of Youngstown, OH; Orlando (Charnae) Gonzalez of New Castle, PA; Rolando “Cuqui” (Cynthia) Gonzalez of Youngstown, OH; 16 brothers and sisters; 25 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Angel was preceded in death by three brothers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 19th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
