Ann E. Parrish

McDonald- Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Ann E. Parrish, age 93 of McDonald who died Tuesday afternoon at her home. Ann was born March 8, 1914 in Dunbar, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Sedlacko) Kukura. Ann or Aunt Annie as she was affectionately called was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans, of which she made and gave away many over the years. Ann was a devoted wife to her huband John for 57 years and a loving sister and caring and gracious aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all. Ann’s husband, John Parrish whom she married Oct. 14, 1940 died Dec. 19, 1997. She leaves a sister Mary Golubic of McDonald and several nieces and nephews, of which Katherine Skruck, her niece was her care giver. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers John and Steve Kukura.
