Ann Gol York

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Friday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Austintown for Ann Gol York of Smithfield, VA who passed away Saturday evening at her son’s residence. Ann was born May 19, 1920 in Youngstown a daughter of John (Gulu) and Gertrude (May) Gol. She had formerly lived in Austintown prior to moving to Virginia with her son. Ann was a member of St. Joseph Church, and had been employed as a Quality Control Technician for Packard Electric in Warren, OH for 25 years before retiring in 1980. She is survived by two children Jack (Nan) York of Smithfield, VA and Patricia (Gerald) Christians of Maple Grove, MN; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas York whom she married March 11, 1939 and passed away on January 6, 1996, two sisters Mary Terlecky and Louise Kubrin and one brother Nick Gol.
