Ann H. Drapp, passed away at 9:15PM Tuesday, December 1, 2009 with her family by her side at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital following complications from a stroke she suffered at home last week. Ann was 93. Ann was born October 11, 1916 in Grindstone, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Bilovesky) Demsko. A resident here since 1942, Ann was retired from the GE Trumbull Lamp where she was a coil setter. Ann was a charter member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Warren, was a member of its C&M Guild, 50+ Club and volunteered; and was one of the founders of the Pirohy Sale at the church. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Chapel at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees. Ann enjoyed taking casino trips with family and friends and most importantly she enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Anna was married on July 27, 1940 to Albert R. Drapp and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1963. Affectionately known as "Baba" to her family and close friends, Ann will be sadly missed by her daughter Valerie "Val" (Michael) Youll of Warren; three granddaughters Missy (Bill) Jackson, Debbie (Alan) Boggs and Shelley (Mike) Russell and by five great grandchildren Michael Boggs, Mackenzie Boggs, Andrew Russell, Gabby Jackson and Matthew Russell. Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Spirko and Helen Demsko and a brother William Demsko. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE Warren, where calling hours will take place on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 5 until 8 PM, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Fr. Bernard R. Schmalzried as celebrant and Fr. James P. Walker, concelebrating, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:15AM in the funeral home prior in leaving for the church. The family suggests that memorial contributions to take the form of donations to the Restoration Fund of St. Mary's Church or to the Heritage Fund of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 185 Laird Ave, Warren, OH 44483. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
