Anna Barney

MCDONALD-Mass of Christian Burial will offered at 10:30AM Thursday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Ridge with Father Richard Murphy officiating, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:45AM in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Anna Barney, 90, of McDonald, who passed away at 5:31PM Sunday, April 22, 2007 in the emergency room of Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Anna was born September 25, 1916 in Juniata, Pa and was the daughter of the late Martin and Marie (Labunek) Kochera. Anna was a member of the church and was a wonderful cook and baker over the years. Anna also thoroughly enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens. Anna was married to Frank William Barney who preceded her in death on August 8, 1989. Anna is survived by five children Richard F. (Juanita) Barney of McDonald, Robert J. (Susan) Barney of McDonald, Elizabeth A. (Ken) Shellito of Warren, Jane Thomas of Traverse City, MI, and Lynn (Dave) Glaze of Warren; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, and husband Frank, Anna was preceded in death by sisters Betty and Rose; and by brothers Frank, Martin, Joseph, and Steve. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 5 until 7 PM in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
