POLAND Anna Lee Alders, 86, passed away Feb. 1, 2014, at Sunrise Senior Living in Poland. She was born March 1, 1927, in Akron, the daughter of William and Freda Taylor. They moved to Youngstown when she was a child, and she lived here for the remainder of her life. She loved to sew and made many of the familys clothes. She could be found most mornings working out at the Body Works gym with a close group of friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hike all of the trails in Mill Creek Park and Fellows Riverside Gardens. Mrs. Alders leaves two sons, Robert (Joyce) Alders Jr. of Amesbury, Mass., and Jeff (Jan) Alders of Canfield; a daughter, Jody (Keith Bailey) Alders of Columbus; four grandchildren, Hannah Lapointe, Alexandra Alders, Ryan Alders and Angela Meranto; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Alders and Joseph Meranto. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Charlotte Roat, brother Claude Taylor and brother William Taylor.
