Anna Marie Kiwalla

Anna Marie "Nancy" Kiwalla, a strong Irish spirit, age 79, of Warren, died at 12:45 pm Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Hospice House in Poland. She would have celebrated her 80th birthday January 28th. She was born January 28, 1930 in Weirton, WV the daughter of the late John J. and Margaret M. (McKenna) O'Connell. Nancy was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren. She most loved spending time with family and friends. Nancy had an open heart and open home. Her death, as her life, should be a cause for celebration. Her husband of 40 years, Stanley W. Kiwalla, whom she married August 25, 1951, preceded her in death in 1991. Two brothers, Jack and Patrick O'Connell also preceded in death. Nancy is survived by three daughters, Kathleen A. (John) Fara of Niles, Colleen M. (Joseph) Sekula of Howland and Maureen L. (Mark) Paczak of Cortland; four loving grandchildren, Aaron Alexander Paczak, Lauren Elisabeth Paczak, Jody (Freddy) Randolph Maestas and Gregory Sekula; one sister, Callista (George) Reese and one brother, William O'Connell. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church at 1 pm Wednesday with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried celebrating the mass. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Township.
