Anna Sharp

Austintown- Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Anna Sharp, age 92, formerly of N. Turner Rd. who died Sunday evening in Northside Hospital. Anna was born May 2, 1914 in Wimber, Pa. and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Donahue) Smith. She was a homemaker and had various jobs throughout her working career. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going dancing. Anna’s husband, Bruce M. Sharp whom she married Jan 16, 1932 died March 4, 1994. She is survived by four children, Gene (Audrey) Sharp of Austintown, Joan Agler of Austintown, Bruce (Becky) Sharp, Jr. of Shelby Twp., Michigan, Kathleen (Roger) Hatcher of Struthers with whom she made her home and two sisters Eleanor Swartz of Nanty-Glo, Pa., Elsie Torous of Johnstown, Pa. and a brother William Smith of Ebensburg, Pa. Anna leaves ten grandchildren, Rey Beth Sharp, Gene (Diane) Sharp, Jr., Kathy (Tom) Toth, Robert (Sharon) Agler, Vicki Agler, Jim (Stephanie) Agler, Jenny (Bill) Gieselman, Jackie Sharp, Robin (John) Wellhousen, Brad (Angie) Hatcher and 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother John Smith and her sisters, Jane Woods, Hazel Holupka, Pat Rebold, Kate Johnson, Mary Cramer and her grandson, Tommy Agler. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday.
