Anna Wolfe

Anna Wolfe, age 82, of Johnston Township, died Monday evening, March 16, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born November 27, 1926 in Tachau, Germany the daughter of the late Maria Schweimer. Anna was a homemaker all of her life. Her husband, Howard G. Wolfe, Sr., whom she married September 28, 1956, preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by one son, Howard G. Wolfe, Jr. of Boston, NY; one granddaughter, Sarah and one brother, Karl Schweimer of Germany. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland, where the family will receive friends for a memorial gathering from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2009. Cremation was held. Burial for Anna and her husband will be at Rittman National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
