Anne Prodonovich

Mrs. Anne Prodonovich, 84, of Cortland, OH passed away early Thursday morning August 26, 2010 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles, OH. Mrs. Prodonovich was born May 16, 1926 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania the daughter of Michael and Stanica (Radovich) Dragosljvich. She married Steve Prodonovich on August 6th, 1950 and together they would share more than fifty-six years of marriage. Anne worked as a welder at American Bridge Shipyard during World War II, and would go on to work as a Dietary Aide at Hillside Hospital in Warren before her retirement in 1994. She is survived by her son Rody and his wife Karen of Cortland, OH and two daughters Christine Rimar and her husband George of Howland, OH and Kathy Prodonovich of Cortland, OH; her grandson Ryan Rimar; her brother Bryan Savich of Aliquippa, PA; and by her sister Mildred Manolovich. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve on July 10, 2007, her parents, and by four brothers Stanley, Nick, Milton, and Michael. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday August 28, 2010 at Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel 164 North High Street Cortland, Ohio 44410. Calling hours will be held from 10:00AM-12:00 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be with her husband at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
