Annetta G. Holden

Annetta Grace Holden, 68 of Cortview Dr., Cortland, died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 7:30AM at her home. Born September 15, 1937 in Royer, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ada Harbaugh Gorman. Annetta was a homemaker and was great in the kitchen. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was especially known for her pies. She enjoyed playing the bass and drums in various country music bands through out the area and was a 10 year volunteer at the Cortview Village Nutrition Site. She will be dearly missed by her former husband “Rex” Robert Holden, by her children, Darla(Dave) Loychik of Cortland, Julie Brekoski also of Cortland, and Skip Holden of Warren, grandchildren, Paul, Brian, Jon, Ian, Drew, Alaina, Meghan, and Amanda, 6 great grandchildren, two sisters, Ruth(Joe) Benke of Cortland and Mary Dodson of Champion, a brother-in-law Harold Cunningham of Martinsburg, PA, sister-in-law Louise Gorman of Warren, 18 nieces and nephews and by several friends. She was preceded in death by her son Rex Allen Holden in August of 2000, two sisters Betty Kelley and Polly Cunningham and by a brother Robert Gorman. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from 4 to 7PM at Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rod Meyer to conduct a funeral service immediately following the calling hours at 7PM. Burial will be held in the Crown Hill Burial Park Wednesday at 10AM.
