Annie W Lenney

Annie W. Lenney, age 82, of Cortland, died July 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Laverne, MN, a daughter of the late Jake Biestbos and the late Anna Lindbeck Biestbos. Annie moved to Johnston Twp. at the age of 7 and graduated from Johnston High School. She retired from Ohio Lamp and then devoted her life to her family, working as a homemaker. Annie was a member of the Johnston Federated United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Lenney whom she married in October 1953 Also surviving is a sister in-law, Wilma Pernice of Warren and a brother In-law, Ike (Dora) Lenney of Champion. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Ann Lenney. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11 am at the Johnston Federated United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.
