October 16, 1922 — July 4, 2005

Anthony J. “Red” Morocco of Brookfield, OH died at 6:40 AM Monday at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was 82. Mr. Morocco was born in Sharon, PA on Nov. 16, 1922, a son of Gasper and Theresa Morocco. Anthony worked as a Assistant Manager for the state of Ohio in Liquor Sales for over 32 years. He retired in 1987. Mr. Morocco served in the United State Army. He attended Farrell High School. Red’s memberships included Friends of Brookfield Library, and a 50 year member of the Christopher Columbus Society of Farrell, and the Italian Home in Farrell. Survivors include: His wife, Dorothy A. (Harshman) Morocco, whom he married July 23, 1955; 2 brothers, Gus Morocco of Bull Head City, AZ, and Rudy Morocco of Suncity West, AZ; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Dennis Bewley, Pastor of Brookfield United Methodist Church. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday. Burial will be in Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
