Anthony Joseph Apanasewicz

Funeral services will be held 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Anthony Joseph Apanasewicz, 50, of Mineral Ridge who passed away Sunday morning at his home. Anthony was born November 17, 1964 in Warren, the son of the late Anthony J. and Nellie (Federer) Apanasewicz. He was a graduate of Newton Falls High School class of 1983 and received his Associates Degree in Business from Youngstown State University. An avid deer hunter, Anthony was also the owner/operator of DreamBucks Deer Farm for the past 11 years, where he raised and sold white tail deer. He shared his love of the outdoors with his family and would take them hunting and teach them the tricks of the trade. Anthony currently worked as a Quality Engineer with General Motors Lordstown. Prior to that, Anthony worked for 23 years with WCI Steel in Warren. Anthony was an avid outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and camping. He also loved to go to auctions, play golf and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and would attend as many games as he possibly could. He was very talented and creative, and loved working with his hands, a trait he learned from his father. Anthony leaves his wife the former, Angela Hudnell whom he married January 14, 2011, two daughters, Alexa Renee of Poland and Aurora MaeLynne at home, one step son Joseph (Katie) Shepard, three granddaughters, Kennedi, Kassidi, and Kyleigh. He also leaves one brother, Daniel (Tracie) Apanasewicz and two nieces, Vica and Tatyana all of Dayton, In-laws, Ralph and Cindy Hudnell of Thompson, as well as brother and sister in-laws, Arnold and April Correll of Longs, SC. Besides his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by an infant sister, Susan Apanasewicz. Friends may call from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel where services will be held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for the childrens education.
