Anthony Joseph Fusco

AUSTINTOWN-Anthony “Tony” Joseph Fusco, 65, of Austintown, passed away at 9:15 AM Saturday, July 15, 2006 in his home. Tony was born on September 8, 1940 in Youngstown and was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Colonna) Fusco and lived in the area all of his life. Tony retired on July 1, 1998 from General Motors where he worked in the maintenance department for 32 years. Tony was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian in Youngstown and was an original member since 1972 of the Mahoning Valley Old Car Club, and the Youngstown Street Rodders. Tony enjoyed working on and restoring old cars. Tony is survived by his wife of 46 years the former Barbara A. Pedaline, whom he married on April 23, 1960; his father in-law and mother-in-law Anthony and Hazel (McMichael) Pedaline of Youngstown; two daughters Terrie Lynn (Dan) Sullivan of Youngstown, Lori Ann (Eugene) Howley of McDonald; four brothers Frank (Karen) of Austintown, Joseph (Joyce) of Canfield, Thomas of Lorain, and James “Jimmy” (Adeline) of Canfield; a sister Rosalie (Robert) Sine of Austintown; and three grandchildren Amy Lynn Rigby, Jacob Anthony Howley, and Gina Marie Howley. Besides his parents, Tony was preceded in death by a son Gary Anthony; and sisters Cecilia “Dolly” Tocicki, and Marietta Proverbs. Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Monday, July 17, 2006 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2006. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Tony’s memory to Hospice of the Valley.
