Arthur Dale Snyder

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Zion Lutheran Church for Arthur Dale Snyder of Canfield who passed away on Thursday at his home. Dale was born September 5, 1920 in Alverton, PA the son of Harry Emerson and Jesse Pearl Leasure Snyder. Dale worked at Ben’s Appliance, was the owner/operator of Dale’s Appliance Service, and was the head Maintenance man in the Canfield Local School District where he retired in 1985. He was a member of the Argus Lodge #545 in Canfield and the Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg. He was also a WWII Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre. Dale leaves his wife, the former Susan Tomo whom he married in February of 1963. He also leaves four children: Elinor (Robert) Zedaker of Poland, Beckie (Larry) Snyder-Binder of Madison, Heidi Snyder of Canfield, and Jeff (Anne) Snyder of Dayton. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Rob and John Zedaker, Emily Binder, and Max and Madison Snyder. Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church at 3300 Canfield Rd. Youngstown, OH 44511. Friends and family may call from 4-7 PM on Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel as well as one hour prior to the services from 12 –1 PM on Monday at the church.
