Arthur Stevens

Arthur M. Stevens, 89, of Niles and formerly of Port Charlotte, FL died Tuesday evening, March 25, 2008 in the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home where he was a resident. Born September 29, 1918 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Stephen and Angeline (Pietrzak) Ziolkowski. A graduate of Newton Falls High School, Arthur retired as a parts manager for Ford dealerships in both Newton Falls, and Ft. Meyers, FL. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Belva M. (Williams) Stevens whom he married September 28, 1944. Arthur is survived by five children, Bonnie Thompson of Champion, Matt Stevens of Warren, Craig Stevens of Howland Twp., Patti Stevens of New York, NY and Dwayne Stevens, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helene J. Tocorzic and Irene Frampton. According to Arthur's wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Pineview Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Shepherd's Foundation at 5525 Silica Road Austintown, OH 44515.
