Audrey Ann Kilpatrick

July 5, 1965 — May 28, 2008

Audrey Kilpatrick, from Austintown, Ohio passed away Wednesday afternoon ending a courageous, seven year battle with a brain tumor. Over the past few months, Audrey and her family have been cared for by many skilled medical professionals, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Please know that we are grateful to all who have prayed for Audrey's peace. Audrey leaves behind her husband of 17 years; Ken Kilpatrick formerly of Warren. She also leaves two sons whom she loved dearly; Kenneth 13 and Alex 10. Both children attend Austintown Local Schools where her husband is employed. Audrey was employed by HM Health Services as a respiratory therapist for 22 years. Audrey was born and raised in Boardman, Ohio and moved to Austintown shortly after marrying Ken on February 8, 1991. The Boardman class of 1983 voted Audrey "The Most Caring Graduate". All who knew Audrey will miss her giving personality and love for her family. Audrey is survived by her parent's Charles and Nancy Vogrin of Boardman; two sisters, Kathy Senvisky of Austintown and Alyson Vogrin of Cleveland and a brother, Greg Vogrin from Noblesville, Indiana. Audrey also leaves behind three brother-in-laws and three sister-in-laws; Brian Senvisky of Austintown, Kevin Kilpatrick of Austintown, Patrick Kilpatrick of Warren, Susan Kilpatrick of Warren, Kathleen Kilpatrick of Warren and Alaina Kilpatrick of Warren. Audrey is also survived by her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kilpatrick and father-in-law Ken Kilpatrick. Audrey leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Audrey was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Parish on Covington Ave. and a member of the Austintown PTA. She was a past member of the American Lung Association. Audrey enjoyed traveling, running, golf, the Cavs, Indians, and Columbus Crew. Most of all, Audrey enjoyed watching her son's compete in various sports and being a huge part of their lives. We know that she will now have the best seat in the house! We love you mom! Calling hours will take place at Lane Funeral Home, on Mahoning Avenue, Friday evening from 4pm 8pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home Saturday morning at 9:15 and proceed to SS Peter & Paul church at 10am. Audrey's final resting place will be Calvary cemetery in Youngstown. A trust account has been established for the surviving children at ASECU. Monetary donations can also be made to Hospice of the Valley.
