Audrey G. Stevens

Audrey G. Stevens, 83, of Vienna Twp., OH, passed away early Wednesday morning October 20, 2010 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren, OH. She was born on June 17, 1927 in Cortland, OH the daughter of Carl D. and Mary E. (Powell) Vestal. Audrey was a 1945 graduate of Vienna High School as well as Alumna of the Paramont Beauty School in Youngstown, OH. Audrey was a former member of Paynes Corner Church, and had loved raising her Appoloose Horses for more than 15 years. She had worked as an inspector at General Electric in Niles for over ten years and had been a homemaker and mother to her three sons. Surviving Audrey are her three sons David Stevens and his wife Margaret of Vienna, OH, Rodney Stevens and his wife Joanne of Fowler, OH, and Daniel Stevens and his wife Mara of Vienna, OH; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Audra Stevens, and two brothers Richard and Willis Stevens. The family will receive friends on Friday October 22, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 23, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vienna Township Cemetery.
