Audrey Jean Parish, 84, entered into rest on Thursday, February 3, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born on Feb. 1, 1927, a daughter of Grace T. and Henry Keeling, in Mineral Ridge, where she lived her entire life. She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, and served as secretary of her senior class. She was active in school and community events and was a lifetime member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ, where she was a deaconess, a member of Women Working for Christ, and the Kum Double Class. On November 17, 1945, she married James A. Parish, who survives, and with whom she had 5 sons and shared more than 65 years of marriage. A homemaker, Audrey was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose faith and family were most important to her. She loved to cook and was well-known for her baking expertise, which she considered one of the best ways to express her love to family, friends, and anyone in need of some tender loving care. (Judy) of Royal Oak, Michigan, Richard (Carol, deceased) of Warren, Bruce (Valerie) of Boca Raton, Fla., Randall (Phyllis) of Warren, and Keith (Tammy) of Niles, eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and another great-grandchild due next summer.
