Audrey L. Ritchey

Canfield- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church for Audrey Ritchey who died Sunday afternoon at Austinwoods Nursing Home. Audrey was born April 29. 1911 in North Jackson the daughter of Chauncey and Mabel (Blott) Pence. Audrey was a homemaker, a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking and playing cards. Audrey and her husband Carl (Tuffy) showed ponies at the Canfield fair for over 70 years. She is survived by her daughters Jeannie and Bill Mahaffey of Bluffton S.C. formerly of Warren and Jackie and Tom Haefke with whom she made her home in Canfield. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl L. Ritchey whom she married March 24, 1932 who died August 29, 1978, daughter Joan Lynn and her sister Marie Jones. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and one hour prior to services Thursday in the church. Burial will be in North Jackson Cemetery with Pastor Karl Rein officiating.
