Aurora F. Carnino formerly of Brookfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday October 30, 2009 at 4:30 AM at Omni Manor. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Carnino was born on October 5, 1925 in Sharon, PA to Nicholas A. and Florence (Albu) Crishon. She married Louis M. Carnino on June 14, 1947 and together they shared more than twenty-four years of marriage. She was a 1942 graduate of Hickory High School, and was a graduate of the Shenango Valley Commercial School in Sharon, PA. Mrs. Carnino worked as a clerk for the Trumbull County Eastern District Court for more than Twenty-Three Years. She was a member of the Brookfield- Masury Women's Club, the Brookfield Garden Club, and the American Business Women's Association Sharon/Hickory Chapter. Aurora was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Vienna, OH where she had been a former member of the altar and rosary societies. Mrs. Carnino is survived by her four daughters Karyn S. Carnino of Piqua, OH, Christine L. Kijowski and her husband James of Hubbard, OH, Janine M. Carnino of Jacksonville, FL, and Jonnah F. Hetzel and her husband Gary of Cortland, OH; a sister Dolores Idomir of Austin, TX; ten grandchildren; and also surviving are seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 21, 1971; two brothers George Crishon and Romuel Crishon; and by her three sisters Clementine Burton, Marie Roscoe, and Olympia Choban. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 5-7PM at the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel in Brookfield, OH. Closing prayers will begin at 8:45 AM at the funeral home on Monday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial being held at 9:30AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Vienna, OH with Rev. Frank Zanni, Rev. Msgr. William Connell, and Rev. Richard Whetstone as concelebrants. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Hermitage, PA. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
