Barbara Jean Hopper

Bradenton FL.- Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Barbara Hopper who died Thursday in Bradenton. Barbara was born July 25, 1914 in Youngstown the daughter of James and Teresa Fabanish and moved to Florida in 1996 from Memphis, TN. Barbara retired from Dillard's in Memphis where she had been a sales associate. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and a former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown. She enjoyed reading and politics. Barbara is survived by her children, Dennis V. (Joyce) Hopper of Bradenton, FL., Janet (Ronald) Walesiak of Needles, CA., grandchildren; Rodney V. Hopper, Barbara and Julie Ogden and great grandchildren; Chantel and Bryan Hernandez, Jacob, Jessica and Jeremy Hopper, Melissa, John G. (Gordon) West. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers; Mary Jane (Guy) Damore of Canfield, William W. Fabanish of Henderson, Nevada, Betty Garback of Austintown and sister in law Veronica Fabanish of Austintown. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Elmer Hopper whom she married in 1938, grandchildren, Dennis G. and Judi L. Hopper and brother John Fabanish. Family and friends may call from 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
