Barbara L. Ciprian, 76, of Vienna, died at 9:37 AM Friday July 6, 2007 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born Nov.12, 1930 the daughter of Wilbert and Grace (Cole) Regelman. A Trumbull Co resident for most of her life, she was a 1949 graduate of Vienna High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in education and special education from Youngstown State University and taught special education at Matthews High School for many years and also taught first and fourth grades retiring in 1993. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and truly enjoyed her family. She also liked acting and reading and was an avid bird watcher. In recent years she became a staunch supporter of the Democratic Party. Her husband, Philip Louis Ciprian whom she married in 1950 preceded her in death in 1969. She also was preceded in death by a son Philip Lawrence Ciprian and 2 brothers Gene and Stan Regelman. She is survived by 5 children; Stephanie Potjunas and companion Rob Patchen of Warren, Mark (Lori) Ciprian of Vienna, Michael Ciprian of Vienna, Cheryl (Mark) Crites of Stow, OH , Thomas Ciprian of Youngstown, 5 grandchildren, Scott and Colleen Maky, Philip and Lucas Ciprian, Nina Crites and 2 great grandchildren, Sierra Krotzer and Zach Maky. Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.
