Barry Foor

Barry Foor, 70 Canfield: Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, March 7th at Victory Christian Center of Boardman, 8590 Western Reserve Rd., Boardman for Barry Foor, 70 of Canfield who went home to be with Jesus his Lord early Tuesday morning at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Barry was born July 14, 1944 in Breezewood, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Cloyd and Edna Foor and came to this area in the early 70's. He had been a diesel mechanic, specializing in Allison transmissions for W.W. Williams in Hubbard, Ohio for over 40 years. Barry attended Old North Baptist Church. He had been a coach with Canfield Little League Baseball where he coached both of his children for many years. He enjoyed working outside and golfing. Barry always loved visitors and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren teaching them all that he could. He leaves his wife, the former Ruth Lambert, whom he married October 14, 1963; two children, a daughter, Juanita (Craig) Coggins of Canfield, and their children, Stephen, Megan and Philip; a son, Michael (Tracy) Foor of Cleveland, Georgia and their children, Hannah, Rebekah and Tessa. Barry also leaves two brothers, Allen Foor, Marlin (Doris) Foor, both of Pennsylvania. Besides his parents, Barry was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Foor. Friends may call on Saturday at Victory Christian Center at Boardman from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
