Austintown- Services celebrating the life of Bea Riebe will be held at 11am Friday at Disciples Christian Church, Boardman. Bea was born November 1, 1921 in Girard the daughter of John W. and Marie C. (Mincher) Hetherington. Bea was a 1940 graduate of Chaney High School. She retired from Austintown Zoning Office, where she had worked for 25 years. She had formerly worked for American News Company. Bea was an active member of Disciples Church, singing in the choir, member of Christian Women's Fellowship and the Amity Sunday school class. She formerly had been a 4H leader in North Lima, member of the Good Government League and Austintown Mother's Singers. She loved to do crossword puzzles, crochet and read novels. Bea's greatest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carol (Art) Reinking of Waco, TX., Susan (Paul) Danks of Austintown, grandchildren, Christine (Bob) Bloom, Bryan (Jennifer) Danks, Amanda (Brad) Porterfield, Colin (Amanda) Danks and brothers James D. and John W. Hetherington. She will also be missed by her 3 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and 2 step-great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Riebe whom she married October 27, 1943, who died July 30, 2003 and 3 siblings. Family and friends may call from 10-11am Friday at the church prior to services
