Bernice A. Jacob

Bernice A. Jacob, 85, of Boardman, passed away 1:03 PM Saturday Sept. 19, 2009 at Briarfield of Mineral Ridge. She was born March 11, 1924 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Frank and Mary (Ocarz) First. A lifetime area resident, she graduated from South High School. She was a devoted homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Bernice enjoyed playing BINGO. Her husband, John Jacob, whom she married Aug.30, 1947 preceded her in death Jan.19, 2003. She also was preceded in death by a brother Paul First and a sister Helen Mullen. Survivors include a son David (Janet) Jacob of Howland Twp., a daughter Beverly (Tom) Stanec of Poland, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a brother Henry First of Struthers.
