Bertha Fausnaught Clare

Niles- Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday at the Niles Wesleyan Methodist Church for Bertha Clare, age 85 of Niles who died Thursday afternoon at Hospice House. Bertha was born Aug. 11, 1924 in Danville, Pa. and was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Keefer) Fausnaught. She retried in 1982 from Packard Electric in Warren and was a member of the Niles Wesleyan Methodist Church. Her husband, Robert Clare whom she married April 8, 1948 died Dec. 6, 2000. She is survived by a son David Clare of Niles, two granddaughters, Kari Killing, and Jamie Clare and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Ruth Ann Clare, five sisters; Mildred Bollinger, Mary Fausnaught, Leona Novakovich, Lois Pizzulo and Dorothy Fausnaught Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel and 9-10 AM Monday prior to the services. The family requests that material contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.
