GIRARD- Betty Lou Margaret DeLung Timko, 88, formerly of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her Son's home in Girard, Ohio. She was born on January 25, 1927 in Arnettsville, West Virginia, daughter of the late, Earl and Pearl (Wood) DeLung. Betty was retired from Packard Electric after 30 years as a press operator. She married her late husband, Ronald Timko on September 6, 1952. Betty enjoyed camping with her family and going on vacations to Las Vegas and the Bahamas. She was a great baker, and was famous for her zucchini bread and nut rolls. Betty liked to play cards and enjoyed gambling at Mountaineer. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Leo) Schuler of Howland; son, Gary (Jennifer) Timko of Girard; 5 grandchildren, Jake Schuler, April (Jeffrey) Campbell, Joshua (Heather) Timko, Roni Jo Timko and Alexandria (Jesse) Bailey; 6 great-grandchildren, Aidan Schuler, Connor Schuler, Brenden Campbell, Shaelin Campbell, Emily Oviatt and Kolbie Timko; and 1 sister, Erlene Boylan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Ronald Timko; her parents; one granddaughter, Heather Schuler and five siblings, Peg Stein, Earl DeLung, Jr., Maurice Atkins, Coleman Atkins, and Ernest DeLung. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, Ohio, from 12:00 P.M. To 2:00 P.M. Private family services will take place at a later date. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Betty to the American Cancer Society.
