Betty Lou Cory

Betty Lou Cory, age 79, of Cortland, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Windsor House of Champion. She was born on May 24, 1931 in Lordstown, a daughter of the late Charles Morris and the late Erma (Quinby) Morris. Betty was a member of the Bazetta Christian Church where she had been very active in many different church organizations. She retired from City Loan in 1994 where she had worked as an Assistant Manager for many years. Betty enjoyed reading and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Cory, whom she married on December 31, 1950. Also surviving is her sister, Helen Zenar of Atwater, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Willard Morris. Per her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made to the Bazetta Christian Church.
