Betty Louise Massie

Betty Louise Massie, 83, formerly of Warren, passed away Tuesday morning, September 7, 2010 at her home in Southington surrounded by her family. Born December 12, 1926 in East Palestine, OH, Betty was the daughter of the late Peter and Pearl (Burnson) McTague. Betty worked at Packard Electric as an assembler for 10 years until 1983. She loved crafts and traveling with her friends. Most of all, Betty was devoted to her family and adored her children and grandchildren. She was of the catholic faith. She will be dearly missed by her children, Judy (Joe) Mills of Southington, Jan (Bill) Nemcik of Vienna, and Laura (Frank) Cash of Cookville, TN, 11 grandchildren, Rick (Bridget) Massie, Kim Henry, Ryan Massie, Billy Mills, Kristine (Joe) Yako, Tiffany Massie, Shelby Massie, Amy (Richard) Gardner, Annie (Bobby) Burgess, David (Maria) Cash and Michael Cash, nine great grandchildren, and two sisters, Ruth Ann Brewer of East Palestine, and Donna Jean Kluth of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her former husband Glenn Massie, two sons, Alan and Rick Massie and 10 brothers and sisters. Together, the Rev. Richard Massie and Rev. Patty Scahill will conduct a funeral service Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 3PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel where family and friends may visit from 1PM until 3PM. Burial will take place in the Vienna Twp. cemetery.
