Betty Marie Sigley

Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Betty Marie Sigley who passed away Saturday evening at her home. Betty was born February 16, 1936 in Star City, WV a daughter of the late Stanley and Marguerite (Gennoa) Foster. A homemaker, Betty was a member of the Galiee Apostolic Church in Austintown, a Sunday School Teacher and former member the New Beginning Weight Loss Club and TOPS. Her husband, Lawrence Sigley, whom she married May 14, 1955, passed away November 24, 2002. Betty will be sadly missed by her four children: Clifford J. Sigley, Kenneth L. Sigley, David A. (Darla) Sigley all of McDonald and Donna Bowker of Niles; four sisters: Ruth Wagner of Niles, Nina McCrobie of Mountain Lake Park, MD, Geraldine Ford of Oakland, MD, and Irene Mersing of Oakland, MD; one brother Edgar W. Foster of McDonald; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many friends. Besides her parents and husband, Betty is preceded in death by a daughter Charlotte Sigley; a sister Opal Foster and three brothers: Robert, Albert, and Joseph Foster. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Betty’s name. Friends may call from 4 pm until 7 pm Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel and from 11 am until 12 pm Wednesday prior to the services.
