Beverly L. Lewis

Funeral services will be held at 7pm Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Beverly L. Lewis, 61 who died early Tuesday morning at her residence. She was born October 18, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of Steven T. and Eleanor (Gruver) Lesko, Sr., and she resided in this area most of her life. She was a 1965 graduate of Chaney High School and she spent her adult life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Youngstown. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends, especially her Godson Jimmy, Jr. “Dinkie” and Scrappy the dog. Beverly was a kind and loving lady and she will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She married Arthur D. Lewis on March 3, 1972 and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1989. She is survived by her father of Youngstown; nine siblings; Joyce (Jack) Lakovich of Canfield, Raymond (Sandy) Lesko of Cicero, NY, Geraldine Lesko Morar of Austintown, Donald (Yvonne) Lesko of Carpentersville, IL, Phyllis (Joseph) Warner of Poland, Karen Lesko, Kathleen Ragan, Steven T. (Debbie) Lesko, Jr., and James (Jerrie) Lesko, Sr., with whom she made her home, all of Youngstown; and thirteen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and a Godson Brian Morar. Friends may call from 5-7pm Friday at the funeral home with services immediately following.
