Wilbur E. "Bill" Coulter, 74 of Champion Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Thursday afternoon, January 23, 2014, at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born May 8, 1939 in Warren, the son of the late Clarence E. and Ellenora A. Welshans Coulter. He was a lifetime Champion resident. Bill was a 1958 graduate of Champion High School. He retired in 1998 from Packard Electric. Bill was a member of Champion Presbyterian Church, where he had served as a deacon. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening, bicycling, golf and many beautiful walks through the parks of Disney World. Bill loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Judith Post Coulter, whom he married May 14, 1960; their six children, Kimberly Kelley, Bambi Shea, Heather Coulter-Shutler, Trevor Coulter, Cinnamon Ferguson and Honey Chantelle Fiore; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Krieg and one brother, Charles Coulter. Private family services were held January 27, 2014 at the church with entombment following in the mausoleum at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. A memorial service will be held at the Champion Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m. Friday February 7 , 2014, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the memorial fund at Champion Presbyterian Church.
