Billie June Ritter

Billie June Ritter, 84 of Leavittsburg passed away early Saturday morning at Hospice House in Poland. She was born on June 16, 1927 in Leavittsburg; the daughter of the late William and Henrietta Marvin Gibson. A lifetime area resident, Billie retired as a production worker from Warren Repo. She enjoyed bowling, going to casinos and attending car shows with her dear friend JoAnn. She married her husband, Rodney P. Ritter on April 28, 1942. Together they shared 65 years of marriage until his passing in November of 2007. Also preceding Billie in death are her parents; a son, Rodney A. Ritter; sisters Juanita Ward and Carolyn McDermott and a grandson Timothy Ritter. She is survived by her daughter; Mrs. Cheri (Dick) Iler of Southington; a daughter in law Judy Ritter of Leavittsburg; siblings; Charlie (Mary) Gibson of Niles and Marilyn Williams. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 4pm at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren. The family will be receiving friends from 2pm until the time of the service. Carson Marvin will be officiating the services. In Lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in Billie's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5109 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio.
